This fun little promotional brochure was distributed to advertise the Parrot Jungle – a tourist attraction outside of Miami ‘where gorgeous parrots fly around free.’ A road map on the right side shows directions from the city to the ‘jungle’, with a clever transition through the entrance into an illustrated representation of the park. Vibrant photographs and text on the verso promise “undoubtedly the world’s most colorful attraction. You will never forget its rare spectacles.” Designed by Reg. Requa (artist’s signature in the lower right) and lithographed by Macdonald in Tampa. Difficult to date, but probably issued in the late 1950s.
