This lovely antique star chart was published in Edinburgh by A. & C. Black in 1853. Constellations and other celestial formations and phenomena are labeled for both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. A soft blue background, a color usually reserved for the seas, is punctuated by a bronze-hued Milky Way.
